A.Holly Patterson is a warm and friendly place. The staff are very helpful and informative. The floors are clean and keen and no smells. The principal objective for the employee's is to requite the best quality of intendance and life, to at that place residents. The rooms are cleaned by housekeeping every single day. Residents food is prepared by the state of fine art kitchen staff. Activities are ongoing 365 days a year.

My grandmother was a resident at A Holly Patterson until her passing. My grandmother who e'er fussed about cleanliness didn't once mutter about the place. She was well taken intendance of: always clean, dressed and comfortable. The staff were professional, supportive and respectful. We felt the care from the staff and was informed of any changes in her condition. Due to her express mobility she was not able to due much but staff brought her activities that she tin do. I am so grateful for all the staff who took care of her. In that location was always a smile on her confront when nosotros visited.

The Staffs are caring, professional person. very respectful . E'er reading to help and guide me in the right directions. Everyone has been so caring and supportive, I am grateful, and very happy with the care my sister is receiving at the facility. Information technology is a big and well maintained facility, and I love the fact that they have a rapid response squad comprised with well trained doctors. nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and respiratory therapists that responds to immediate patients emergencies within the facility, . Very impressed with that, information technology'south the 1 I've seen so far in all the rehab facilities that I have visited. Their nutrient service looks neat, a lot of varieties and choices given to the patients. Their physical therapy department and gym is clean and well staffed. I dear the fact that they have round the clock securities in every entrance, and every company must show ID to get a company laissez passer. I am very happy that nosotros choose this facility for my sister.

My mother has been a resident of A Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility for most iii years now. Unit is cleaned by housekeeping staff. Her care here has been good. She'southward always well clean-cut and neatly dressed. At that place hasn't been anytime I have came to run into her untidy and in bed. The staff is very circumspect . Doctors and nurses keeps me well informed of her intendance. Therapeutic recreations have activities for everyone and she'south able to attend her religious services. Physical therapy is on the bounds when she needed it . I take spoken to her dietician to help with my mother diet preferences . During the Covid Pandemic when visiting was stopped , the facility fabricated it able for me to speak and run into her. Social worker and recreation video calls made information technology possible during this emotional fourth dimension . I can't say enough for the health intendance providers at Holly Patterson. They truly are ESENTIAL WORKERS!

I have been very happy with my cousin'south care. Everyone from the nurses to the aides to the housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. My cousin has always been groovy and clean when I visit. During the pandemic I can't visit merely I have had Face up Time calls with the help of the staff whenever I inquire. I would recommend this facility.

This facility reminded me of a a nursing home in a horror movie. I would not transport my hamster there, Rooms are muddy and depressing

The nurses are nasty they left another woman encarmine towel on my mothers room feeding tabular array The nurses some are overnice but nigh are very rude and nasty to people doctors also. They are not friendly and they don't brand family feel welcome and happy so I know the patients aren't either. I as well seen and heard the nurse curse at a patient and accept nutrient from her while eating I had to complain that I was going to tak my mother out of there to go them to do any activity with her and all they did was first moving her from the bed to the chair. All this play has to offer is medication and a place for them to rest their heads. If your family or anyone doesn't come meet y'all they don't really intendance for you. This place is nothing but bug don't place your family unit member hither

It would be a mistake to only accept into consideration the historic period of this facility. My mother, 92, is living at A. Holly Patterson and suffering from dementia. I must look by the historic period of the concrete plant and into the hearts of the caretakers, which are full of love. Management has exceeded my expectations and I am being followed upwardly with very often; in fact moreso and then the very expensive facilities we used prior. The facility is equally make clean as clean can be and the staff caring. I believe the facility is well run after having spoken with many staff members; medical, social and support. I have no complaints whatsoever.

I went to Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility once. They were horrific. They would leave people who were crippled in their feces and dirty diapers. From what I saw from looking in the rooms, they would just lay at that place all day. The room was similar a hospital room setting but but disgusting. The ambient was horrible. My husband had his cell telephone and his wearing apparel stolen. I think the food was brought to them similar it is in the hospital, but my husband was lament about it every time. They demand to improve on everything.

My begetter is currently here. I'm doing everything I tin to take him transferred. I saw him & this facility for the outset fourth dimension this past Sunday & in one case I walked in, I knew he had to be transferred ASAP. First off, NuMed told me my begetter wanted to exist transferred in that location just to find out considering it's the hospitals first choice nursing home & it's all nigh money, my father never chose to become there. I walk in & the guards at the front entrance were so rude & had a problem telling me where to get so I had to find it myself. I so see all of the nursing staff at their desk talking nigh God knows what while my begetter was calling for a nurse for 10 minutes. I had to run to the bathroom considering the smell of urine & fences flooded the hallways & I had to become vomit. One-half of the toilets were backed up. I go into my fathers bathroom & the toilet is backed up & won't flush. The social workers accept weeks to get back to y'all. A nurse didn't speak English when I was asking her about my begetter. The people there accept no idea what they're talking about when I tell them what my father needs done medical wise. They're completely back tracking progress he has fabricated & he's been getting worse by being here. His doctor just calls me & I tell her she has to brand upwards the paperwork for him to be transferred & she's refusing & giving me attitude. I've been in endless amounts of hospitals/nursing homes the by years & this is by far the absolute worst. It looks like a prison & I have no idea how it hasn't been shut downwardly & everyone fired. I'm and so disgusted. My father volition be moved because at present I have to do not only the doctors job just the social workers job as well. DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU Intendance ABOUT TO THIS FACILITY.

What I found abrasive is the abiding pressure from 1 employee to have me purchase her phone service. Yes, that's correct. She was nice to you all the time until you told her no you were not interested in buying telephone service from her. She even had flyers printed upward on her employers copy paper. Soon as I walked in or chosen to speak to someone I know who was placed there, she was on me. And she used her employers copy newspaper as well. What nerve! Plus they are as well quick to place the elderly in diapers because they cant be bothered to cease and assist someone with a broken leg to the bathroom who is not incontinent. And why would an 90 year old woman need a prescribed vaginal antibiotic cream. They tried to blame it on perfumed soap merely later on using the same soap there for 4 years, it'southward non the soap only poor care. They even held this person against their will and direct orders from a relative. She never gets to meet her real doctors that treated her and know her well. Plus they never had thee right medico treating her. Or told family members what doctors they brought in. Does a 90 year old woman with a broken leg, in need of new knees and a set of hip with arthritis of the hands and spine also only demand a chiropractor? Who was a no-testify a number of time. And they billed for physical therapy they didn't provide.

My friend stayed at A. Holly Patterson Extended Intendance Facility for x years, why, I had no thought. He had no business existence there that long and they didn't call up. I recall they only didn't want to allow him go considering they got money from him. After that, for a yr, he was in a footling efficiency flat that I got for him, merely now, he's back at A. Holly Patterson because he needs medical intendance. He shares a room with somebody there. When I go there, and even though I didn't have much coin, I would take him out to swallow because the nutrient there is crummy and it also smells. With regards to their staff, the social workers lost his stuff and and so his files. The doctors in the hospital would give him a prescription and they would modify it. One time, I called my friend up and he couldn't talk because he was very nervous. There was a nurse there that made him upset. It turned out that he moved something in the room a little bit and this nurse didn't similar it, then she scared him to death. Some of the staff members are good, but overall their professionalism should improve. If you can't trust the people who are in accuse, then it's a bad thing.

It'south a land run facilty but since changes have been fabricated, inside the final few years, I feel it is one of the best intendance facilties for the eldery on long island that I know. My sis'due south Mother-inlaw is a resident in there, she is 93 years and the care that she is given is tops. she is so well taken care of. She entered when she was xc and the family could not be happier with this facilty.

The people at the facility were decent and kind I guess. People dont really sympathise unless they themseleves are going thru it. The facility wasnt great it was ok. I feel my aunt should have non been released in her condition.

The worst of the worst! Don't believe the ratings. The medical staff ignored my mother's symptoms. She was eventually rushed to the infirmary: She was in sepsis.
